In short
Choose a lead generation agency in Tunisia on three proofs: published results with the ad-account screenshots (not percentages without a source), an ad account that stays in your name, and cost-per-contact reporting you can read yourself. At Apex Web Studio, three B2B clients got 429 quote requests at $0.87 each, 354 inbound contacts at $1.67 and 5,331 visits at $0.025 — the screenshots are on every case study.
What “lead generation” actually means
A lead is a person who wrote to you or called you with a need: a quote request, a WhatsApp message “do you install in Sfax?”, a completed form. Not a like, not a follower, not an “impression”. An acquisition agency builds the system that produces those contacts every week: advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads), B2B prospecting (email, LinkedIn), a website or landing page that converts, and the measurement that ties each contact to its cost.
The 7 questions to ask before signing
- Show me a real ad account. Not a slide: the Ads Manager screenshot with spend, number of contacts and cost per contact. An agency with results shows them.
- Who will own the ad account? The right answer: you, in your own Business Manager, with your card. The agency gets partner access. If you stop, the history stays with you.
- What will I see, and when? A dashboard you can read yourself: spend, contacts, cost per contact, per campaign. Not a 30-page monthly PDF.
- What is the commitment? Month to month is the sign of an agency that expects to be kept for its numbers. A 12-month contract signed before the first result protects the agency, not you.
- Who will work on my account? The person in front of you or an intern? Ask for the name.
- What happens if it doesn’t work? An honest answer talks about the learning phase (allow two months to judge), what will be changed, and when to stop.
- How do you measure a WhatsApp contact? It is the number one channel in Tunisia and the hardest to count. If the agency has no precise answer (pixel, events, conversation tracking), it won’t be able to tell you what a customer costs.
What a real result looks like: three Tunisian companies
| Client | Sector | Channel | Budget | Result | Unit cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Many Solar Energy | Solar energy | Meta Ads | $369 (May → Jul 2026) | 429 quote requests | $0.87 |
| ZAHI PRO Services | Elevators | Meta Ads | $592 (Jun → Aug 2026) | 354 inbound contacts | $1.67 |
| BMMS | Industrial equipment | Meta Ads | $135 (July 2026) | 5,331 catalogue visits | $0.025 |
These three accounts spent between $135 and $592 over a quarter — roughly 400 to 1,800 DT. The budget doesn’t make the result; the system behind it does: the offer, the landing page, the targeting, and cutting what produces nothing. Details are in the case studies.
Warning signs
- “We guarantee X leads per month.” Nobody controls Meta’s or Google’s auction. A serious agency promises measurement, not a number.
- The ad budget goes through the agency. You never see what Meta actually bills.
- Results expressed in “reach”, “engagement” or “impressions”. Those are visibility numbers, not customers.
- No pixel, no GA4, no events on your site before launch. Without measurement the agency optimises blind — and bills you anyway.
- A website or landing page you won’t be able to edit without them.
